‘“The Prophet of Allah, sallal- laahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, passed by a group of people who were shooting arrows at a goat. He disliked that and said: “Do not torture [or disfigure] animals.”1
Abdullaah ibn Ja’far (a Companion) said:
‘“The Prophet of Allah, sallal- laahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, passed by a group of people who were shooting arrows at a goat. He disliked that and said: “Do not torture [or disfigure] animals.”1
Disfiguring animals refers to torturing them by cutting any part of their body like the nose, ear, private parts or one of their limbs.2
