Verily a believer attains by his good manners the rank of one who fasts and prays abundantly
‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verily a believer attains by his good manners the rank of one who fasts and prays abundantly."
This Hadīth indicates the immense virtue of good manners and by then one reaches a high rank in the sight of Allah and in Paradise. The rank of a person of good manners equals that of the person who often fasts the days and prays at length during the night. These are great acts of worship which involve sacrifices and hardships, whereas treating people with good manners is by comparison easier.
