Merits of Good Manners
Alhamdulillah and all praises be to Allah, the Bestower of benevolence, bounty and generosity to his servants. He is the Giver of countless blessings to all creatures and creations. He is the Generous and the Benevolent whose graces are visible and invisible. Thanks and praises to him at the beginning and at the end. All thanks be to Allah. We give gratitude to Him, we seek His help and guidance, and we ask for His forgiveness.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) as saying, “A woman may be married for four reasons, for her property, her rank, her beauty and her religion; so get the one who is religious and prosper.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Muslim narrated from Ubayy bin Ka‘b that he said:
Allah’s Messenger asked me, “Abul Mundhir (this is Ubayy’s Kunya), do you know which verse of Allah’s Book is the greatest?” I replied, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He asked again: “Abul Mundhir, do you know which verse of Allah’s Book is the greatest? I said, “Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining” (Quran: 2: 255) Thereupon he struck me on the chest and said, “May you rejoice by this knowledge, O Abu Mundhir!"
Birds, soaring and diving, must end their flight slowly. Landing and lowering their wings is harder than taking off and stretching their wings. Like a bird coming down from sky to earth that slows its wing beats and lowers them to gently touch land so was the Command of ALLAH (Glorified be He) to His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding believers: (And lower your wing to those of the believers who follow you) (Ash-Shu‘ara’ 26: 215).
