The Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
The one who severs the ties of kinship will not enter Paradise.

What distinguishes Islam is that it is the only religion that has urged maintaining the ties of kinship, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has the right to stand among the entire nations feeling proud with his followers. How can he boast of you whereas you severed the ties of kinship, you do not ask about them despite the ease provided by the modern means ?! Either out of laziness or as a result of some problems.
