Honor killing and bloodshed is forbidden:
Muhammad abolished blood vengeance (revenge or retaliation) and vendetta (blood feud or dispute). At his farewell
address he declared:
“Every right arising out of homicide (murder) in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi’ah (a relative of Muhammad).”
