No usury in Islam
Muhammad said: “God has forbidden you to take usury, all interest obligations shall henceforth be waived. Your capital is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has judged that there shall be no usury (interest).”
“Those who charge usury are in the same position as those controlled by the devil’s influence. This is because they claim that usury is the same as trade. However, God permits trade, and prohibits usury.”
