The Prophet (PBUH) under his Uncle’s Care

Before the death of Prophet Muhammad’s grandfather, Abdul Muttalib was very sick in his bed and asked his son Abu Talib to take care of Muhammad.

Abdul Muttalib asked Abu Talib to take Muhammad under his care, for being the most one he trusted among his sons. Abu Talib assured his father not to worry, and told him that Muhammad is dearer to his soul than some of his own children.

Abdul Muttalib asked him to take extra care of Muhammad, because he will be a great man, as he said.

Abdul Muttalib died, and Abu Talib never forgot  his father’s will to take extra care of Muhammad. And so Prophet Muhammad was taken under the care of his uncle Abu Talib.
