'the prophet, may allah exalt his mention, was the most generous of people. he was most generous during ramadhan when he met jibreel, may allah render him safe from every derogatory thing; he would meet him every night during ramadhan to practice and review the qur'an with him. the messenger of allah, may allah exalt his mention, was so generous, that he was faster than the swiftest wind in this regard.  (bukhari #6)
