Special Collection of fatwas for Ramadan
1. The month of Ramadan begins in the beginning of the Moon new or when the month of Shaaban due thirty days. -(The Otheymine ibn Sheikh: Fataawa on fasting, page 36)
2. The intention (Niya) at the beginning of Ramadan is sufficient for the entire month. When fasting is interrupted instead, a trip, a disease or anything else, the fasting person must renew its intention due to this interruption.

3. Is preferable for a traveler to break the fast, even if is approved fast. You have the choice of breaking or not, as transmitted by the Prophet Muhammad, the peace and blessings be upon him.
