Morning Azkar

1- آية الكرسي ( اللَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ). 
من ثمرتها ( من قالها حين يصبح أًجير من الجن حتى يمسي ومن قالها حين يمسي أًجير منهم حتى يصبح ) رواه النسائي ، وصححه الألباني .

1- Al-Bakarah verse 255, Ayatul Kursi (Allahu la ilaha illahuwa alhayyu alqayyoomu…)

(Allah – there is no deity except Him…)

Its reward: (Whoever recites it in the morning will be guarded by Allah against jinn all day till the evening, and whoever recites it in the evening will be guarded by Allah against jinn till the morning.) Narrated by an-Nisai’ and rated sahih by al-Albani.

2- المعوذات ( قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ) ( قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ) ( قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ) رواه داود والترمذي ( من ثمرتها : من قالها ثلاث مرات حين يصبح وحين يمسي كفته من كل شيء ) كما في نفس الحديث.

2- Al-Mu'awidhat: (Qul huwa Allahu ahad), (Qul aAAoothu birabbi alfalaq) and (Qul aAAoothu birabbi annas) Narrated by Dawud and at-Tirmidhi… Its reward: (Whoever recites ‘the Three Qul’ three times in the evening and in the morning, they will protect him against everything.) (as mentioned in the hadith)

 

3-  ( أصبحنا وأصبح الملك لله والحمد لله ، لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له ، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير رب أسألك خير ما في هذا اليوم وخير ما بعده ، وأعوذ بك من شر ما في هذا اليوم وشر ما بعده ، رب أعوذ بك من الكسل وسوء الكبر ، رب أعوذ بك من عذاب النار وعذاب القبر ) رواه مسلم

3- (We have reached the morning and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what follows it and I take refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I take refuge in You from laziness and senility. My Lord, I take refuge in You from torment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.) Narrated by Muslim

4-  ( اللهم بك أصبحنا وبك أمسينا ، وبك نحيا وبك نموت وإليك النشور) رواه الترمذي.

4- (O Allah, by Your leave we have reached the morning and by Your leave we have reached the evening by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our resurrection.) (Narrated by at-Tirmidhi)

5-  ( اللهم أنت ربي لا إله إلا أنت خلقتني وأنا عبدك ، وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء لك بنعمتك على وأبوء بذنبي فاغفر لي فأنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت )  من ثمرتها : ( من قالها موقناً بها حين يمسي ومات من ليلته دخل الجنة وكذلك إذا أصبح ) ،  ( كما في نفس الحديث ).

5- (O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You) Its reward: (Whoever says it at night, believing in it with certainty, then dies on that night before morning comes, will be one of the people of Paradise, and the same applies when he says it at the morning), (As mentioned in the hadith)

6 - اللهم إني أصبحت أًشهدك وأشهد حملة عرشك ، وملائكتك وجميع خلقك أنك أنت الله لا إله إلا أنت وحدك لا شريك لك وأن محمداً عبدك ورسولك " أربع مرات ) ، رواه أبو داود والنسائي في عمل اليوم والليلة ، ومن ثمرتها : من قالها حين يصبح أو يمسي أربع مرات أعتقه الله من النار .

6-  O Allah, I have reached the morning and call on You, the bearers of Your throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except You, alone, without partner and that Muhammad is Your Servant and Messenger. (Four times) (Narrated by Abu Dawud, and Anni-Sa'i in 'Amal al-Yawm wal-Laylah) Its reward: Whoever says it four times at the morning and at the evening, Allah will emancipate him from hell.

 7-  ( اللهم ما أصبح بي من نعمة أو بأحد من خلقك فمنك وحدك لا شريك لك فلك الحمد ولك الشكر ) رواه أبو داود والنسائي في عمل اليوم والليلة . من ثمرتها : من قالها حين يصبح أدى شكر يومه ، ومن قالها حين يمسي أدى شكر ليلته ( كما في الحديث نفسه).

7- (O Allah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks, O Allah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks.) Its reward: Whoever says this in the morning has indeed offered his day’s thanks and whoever says this in the evening has indeed offered his night’s thanks. (As mentioned in the hadith)

 8-  ( اللهم عافني في بدني ، اللهم عافني في سمعي ، اللهم عافني في بصري ، لا إله إلا أنت ، اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكفر ، والفقر وأعوذ بك من عذاب القبر لا إله إلا أنت [ثلاث مرات ) رواه أبو داود وأحمد.

 8- (O Allah, grant my body health, O Allah, grant my hearing health, O Allah, grant my sight health. None has the right to be worshipped except You ,  O Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, & I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You) (three times) Narrated by Abu Dawud and Ahmad.

9-   ( حسبي الله لا إله إلا هو عليه توكلت وهو رب العرش العظيم ) سبع مرات أخرجه ابن السنّي مرفوعاً وأبو داود موقوفاً . من ثمرتها : ( من قالها حين يصبح ويمسي سبع مرات كفاه الله ما أهمه من أمر الدنيا والآخرة ) كما في الحديث نفسه .

(Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne.) (Seven times) (Authenticated by Ibn as-Sanni and Abu Dawud) Its reward: (Whoever recites this Allah will grant whatever he/she desire from this world or next.) As mentioned in the hadith.

10-  ( اللهم إني أسألك العفو والعافية في الدنيا والآخرة ، اللهم إني أسألك العفو والعافية في ديني ودنياي وأهلي ومالي ، اللهم استر عوراتي ،وآمن روعاتي ، اللهم احفظني من بين يدي ومن خلفي وعن يميني وعن شمالي ومن فوقي ، وأعوذ بعظمتك أن أًغتال من تحتي ( رواه أبو داود وابن ماجه.

10- (O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay, and preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up by the earth.) (Narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah)

 11-  ) اللهم عالم الغيب والشهادة فاطر السماوات والأرض ، ربَّ كل شيء ومليكه ، أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت ، أعوذ بك من شر نفسي ومن شر الشيطان وشركه ، وأن أقترف على نفسي سوءاً أو أجره إلى مسلم ( رواه الترمذي وأبو داود .

11- (O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the Earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You. I take refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil and shirk of the devil, and from committing wrong against my soul or bringing such upon another Muslim.) (Narrated by at-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud)

12-  (بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السمـيع العليم ) ثلاث مرات رواه أبو داود و الترمذي وابن ماجه وأحمد . ( من ثمرتها: من قالها ثلاثاً إذا أصبح وثلاثاً إذا أمسى لم يضره شيء ) ، كما في الحديث نفسه.

12- )In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing.) Three times, Narrated by Abdu Dawud, at-Trimidhi, Ibn Majah and Ahmad. (Its reward: whoever recites this Dua three times, nothing will harm him.) As mentioned in the hadith.

 13-  ( رضيت بالله رباً وبالإسلام ديناً وبمحمد ~صلى الله عليه و سلم ~ نبياً ) ثلاث مرات ، رواه أبو داود والترمذي والنسائي وأحمد ، ( من ثمرتها  : من قالها ثلاثاً حين يصبح وحين يمسي كان حقاً على الله أن يرضيه يوم القيامة ) كما في الحديث نفسه.

13- (I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, and Islam as a religion and Muhammad peace be upon to him as a Prophet.) Three times, Narrated by Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nisa'I and Ahmad (Its reward: Allah has promised that anyone recites (this Du’a) in the morning and evening will be pleased on the day of resurrection.) As mentioned in the hadith.

14-  ( يا حي يا قيوم برحمتك أستغيث أصلح لي شأني كله ولا تكلني إلى نفسي طرفة عين ) رواه الحاكم وصححه ووافقه الذهبي.

14 – (O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting & Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs & do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.) Narrated by al-Hakim, Rated Sahih by ad-Dhahabi.

15-  ( أصبحنا على فطرة الإسلام وكلمة الإخلاص ودين نبينا محمد وملة أبينا إبراهيم حنيفاً مسلماً وما كان من المشركين ) رواه أحمد .

15- (We rise upon the fitrah of Islaam, and the word of pure faith, and upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad and the religion of our forefather Ibraheem, who was a Muslim and of true faith and was not of those who associate others with Allaah) Narrated by Ahmed

16-   ( سبحان الله وبحمده ) مائة مرة ، رواه مسلم . ( من ثمرتها : من قالها مائة مرة حين يصبح وحين يمسي لم يأت أحد يوم القيامة بأفضل مما جاء به إلا أحد قال مثل ما قال أو زاد عليه ، وثمرة أخرى لمن قالها  حطت خطاياه وإن كانت مثل زبد البحر).

16- (How perfect Allah is and all Praise to Him) One hundred times, Narrated by Muslim. (Its reward: He who says it one hundred times at the morning and at the evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with better deeds than one who utters the same words or utters more of these words… Another reward: (He who says it, all his sins will be forgive even if they were as much as the foam of the sea)

17-   ( لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له ، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير ) مائة مرة إذا أصبح ، رواه البخاري ومسلم .
من ثمرتها : من قالها مائة مرة في اليوم كانت له : 
1- عدل عشر رقاب . 2- وكتب له مائة حسنه . 3- ومحيت عنه مائة سيئة . 4- وكانت له حرزاً من الشيطان يومه ذلك حتى يمسي ) كما في الحديث نفسه.

17- (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.) One hundred times at the morning, narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. Its reward: Whoever says it one hundred times a day he will: 1- get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; 2- one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, 3- one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and 4- it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night…) As mentioned in the hadith.

18-  ( أستغفر الله وأتوب إليه ) مائة مرة في اليوم ، رواه البخاري ومسلم.

18- (I seek Allah’s forgiveness and I repent to Him) One hundred times a day, Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.

19-  ( اللهم إني أسألك علماً نافعاً ورزقاً طيباً وعملاً متقبلاً ) إذا أصبح ، رواه ابن ماجه

19- (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds) At the morning, when he wakes up, Narrated by Ibn Majah.

20-   ( سبحان الله وبحمده ، عدد خلقه ورضا نفسه وزنة عرشه ومداد كلماته ) ثلاث مرات رواه مسلم.

20- (Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words ‘for His Praise’) Three times, narrated by Muslim.

Evening Azkar

1- آية الكرسي ( اللَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ). 
من ثمرتها ( من قالها حين يصبح أًجير من الجن حتى يمسي ومن قالها حين يمسي أًجير منهم حتى يصبح ) رواه النسائي ، وصححه الألباني .

3-  ( أمسينا وأمسى الملك لله والحمد لله، لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير رب أسألك خير ما في هذه الليلة وخير ما بعدها، وأعوذ بك من شر ما في هذه الليلة وشر ما بعدها، رب أعوذ بك من الكسل وسوء الكبر، رب أعوذ بك من عذاب النار وعذاب القبر) رواه مسلم

3- (We have reached the evening and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. 17- (أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق) ثلاث مرات إذا أمسى ، رواه الترمذي وابن ماجه وأحمد.

17- (I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of that which He has created) Three times at the evening, Narrated by at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Ahmad.

 

* Whenever he says one of these Azkar (Du’as), he would follow a sunnah. So, the Muslim should commit to saying these Azkar at the morning and at the evening so that to follow as many sunnan as possible.

* The Muslim should be keen to say these Azkar sincerely, faithfully and with certainty. He should feel their meanings and contemplate them so that they would affect his life, ethics and conduct.
